Janice Naidoo

Janice has spent more than fourteen years in IT service management, on platforms including ServiceNow, Marval, HEAT, Cherwell and ITSM7. She has led incident and service level management for a national retail group, designed ITIL aligned processes, and built the kind of governance that only matters when something goes wrong at three in the morning.

In 2021 she co-founded Solis and Luna Consulting, a South African technology studio that builds websites, custom software and IT service management for small and medium businesses. It is a Level One B-BBEE contributor, one hundred percent black owned and fifty five percent black woman owned, and in 2025 it was named in the Top 20 at the South African Small Business Awards hosted by the National Small Business Chamber.

Luna Switch came out of watching bond originators work. The job is relationships, judgement and negotiation, and yet the day disappears into chasing documents and re-typing the same client into another system. Janice's instinct, formed over years of service management, was that the fix is not another platform to log into. It is a layer that sits on top of what people already use and quietly removes the admin underneath them.

It is the same instinct behind her other product. Medi Diary is a patient owned health record, built so a person's medical history belongs to them rather than to whichever practice happens to be holding it. It is protected under South African provisional patent 2025/10081 and has been covered by ITWeb. Luna Switch is protected the same way, with its own provisional patent application covering the capture and cross system replication it does for originators.

Two very different industries, one conviction: give people back what is already theirs, and take the admin off their desk.
